Servier has been present in Morocco since 1970 producing medicines for the Moroccan market initially under license. In 2002, Servier built a pharmaceutical manufacturing site dedicated to dry forms at the Nouasseur science park situated 25km from Casablanca.

In its first year of operation (2003-04), the site produced 36 million units across a range of 16 products.
Servier Morocco, at Nouasseur manufactures drug product for the Moroccan market and for 13 countries in Western and Central Africa and generic products for Biogaran France. Production and quality assurance standards comply with European standards to guarantee a high level of quality.
Recent investments in compression, packaging and the control laboratory has enhanced the technical capability and competitiveness of the Nouasseur site.
